Author submission guidelines
The Journal
Authors submitting articles to The Journal of Peace, Prosperity and Freedom are encouraged to follow Australian Guide to Legal Citation. Articles should include: an abstract of not more than 250 words; be double spaced; have pages numbered consecutively; and be in Microsoft Word format. Author’s name and email address must be included on a title page. Authors are expected to document sources and include a bibliography of only those sources used in the article.
Footnotes should be used sparingly and where essential. Comments, replies, or rejoinders on previously published articles are welcome and should generally be not longer than 5 double-spaced pages. The JPPF will not consider more than two articles by a single author, whether as sole author or co-author, at any given time. The JPPF will not publish more than two articles by a single author, whether as sole author or co-author, per volume. Unless otherwise stated, submission of a paper implies that the paper is not under consideration with another journal and that it is an original work not previously published.
The word limits are as follows:
10,000 words maximum for research articles
4000 words maximum for commentaries
800-2000 words for book reviews
Online Forum
You don't have to write a full length paper. We also welcome op-ed's, shorter academic commentaries, audio and video. These won't go into the print version of the journal but will be published on the Journal's frequently updated website.
